The Power of Alphabet

I knew the power of alphabet
When I uttered firstly in my life
I was a kid then
Even now I feel as if I am a child.

When I sat before a teacher
She gave me enough to chew
Even after years of great struggle
I look at it bewildered

When I held the first text-book in hand
I had a huge task set out
Even at the turn of its millionth page
I feel as if I’ve reached nowhere.

I know the power of alphabet
When it comes out from the inner self
I feel the power of alphabet
When they take my emotions to flight.

I feel as if I am lost in the wilderness
Of a dark forest
When my thoughts are not elated by
The feather touches of it.

I find my soulmate coming nearer
When I sit in the shadow of tranquility
I wish I could remain in eternal peace
Embracing my sole mate forever.
