My Beloved

An inseparable experience,
That is You for me.
I know Once I loved You,
And yet now.

The western wind brings Your smell,
The clouds make Your pictutre true.
The birds take Your message to me,
The setting sun listens to all.

Oh! Aphrodite the godess of love,
Bow your head; my Girl,
She is an incarnation of you
In this world.

I like to be with You always,
Even in the eternal world.
My Beloved, heart is opened for You,
The doors and windows.

One day You will feel my love,
Then come to me.
Waiting for the moment with You,
For You my Sweet-Heart.

Thank you, Mr.Minister

He is always alert to make timely analysis of the situation and we should thank Mr. Jayram Ramesh to reply back to the White House advisor. The great men are always busy away from the venue of any international gathering but are really able to (mis) interpret the way they want to gain from the concluding notes.

The US way of Climate, Obama to US Congress

The US way of Climate

It's nothing but expected out of any negotiation that includes US as a party. It seems pretty contrasting that US is able to win over a treaty, which US intially rejected to admit. One should not forget the way this 'Great Savior of the Mankind' reacted to the first ever 'Earth Summit' that was held way back in 1991 @ Rio, the capital of Brazil. They were indifferent to their own man, Algore, who attended that meet, not an official representative. Both the President of the time, Mr.Bush Senior and the Congress were too apprehensive to admit such an issue which they claimed as a creation of the 'Third World' and thus not a realistic one.The change of stand in Obama administration is not a comprehensive one, not recognizing the basic essence of the 'Kyoto Treaty' the only one of its kind which is about to take its last breath in a near future. They are daring to put forward a stand of their own not looking into its legitimacy through a different angle. The attitude of the kind 'No Policy With US(us) and No Policy Without US(us)' should go into scrap not allowing them to rise and stand opposite to the mankind anymore.

Obama to US Congress

Listening to the advisor to White House, David Axelrod's remark that the climate accord allows US to not only unilaterally review India's progress but also challenge the country if it failed to meet its domestic climate targets. The real intention is absolutely clear that more than anyone else, we know better to make profit out of the chances arising from time to time. But he was opposed and criticized by Dr.R.K.Pachauri, the head of IPCCC, but not an official from the Government of India's side.It should be replied to check the rise of a giant as the protector of the mankind which is swallowing the minor democratic entities, not just countries alone.

Tail end : Obama administration were generous to rise the funding at the cost of those who face threat to their existence due to rise in Sea level, one of the visible effects of Climate change.

Impeachment and Removal : The Constitutional Way

This is to make a clarification of difference between the impeachment and removal as a matter of procedure. This is a classical example where our media is interpreting subjects according to their on convenience. If such a subject is our constitution what it amounts to, do not forget legal experts are also having a dual stand in this regard. But here it is my attempt to read it, conforming to the constitutional way.For example, as pointed out in the news item on Justice. Dinakaran's issue ('The Hindu'on Tuesday, 08 / 12 / 2009, front page, bottom right corner) that it is going to be an address be presented to the President seeking the removal of the tainted judge. The paragraph beginning with quoting the motion prepared by advocate Vaigi of FJA the matter is clearly stated, but in many places starting from the title of the news item it is wrongly stated as 'impeachment' including a part of the letter by Prashant Bhushan to leaders of various political parties. To make it clear I would like to refer the articles mentioned here as artilce.124.of Indian Constitution to be titled as 'Establishment and Constitution of Supreme Court' and article 217.as 'Appointment and Conditions of the office of a Judge of High Court'.Moreover quoting a legal expert in this matter, Subhash Kashyap clarifies the matter as..... "Contrary to the common belief, there is no provisions in our constitution for the impeachment of a judge. The impeachment is provided for the President and none else. Also, there is a fundamental difference between removal procedure and impeachment procedure and between the passing of a motion for presenting an address to the President seeking orders for the removal of a judge. The ground for the impeachment of the President have to concern violation of the 'Constitution' while an address for removal of a judge has to be on the ground of 'misbehavior or incapacity' ".

Private Practice and MCH Alleppey Episode

Kerala has always been on the top to set good examples for the country and for all mankind in general.Private practice is such an issue which should be taken to the national level attention. The social progress what the entire Kerala society enjoys now is the net result of all concerted effort that had been put in the past.Social equity of progress, atleast to the base line, has been assured in Kerala which makes 'the Kerala Model' uniquely standing to the level achieved by only developed countries. The demand for abolision of priavate practice of doctors of all Medical Colleges(MCs) took its origin in 1969 with the leadership of the great visionaries like late.Dr.C.R.Soman, Dr.P.K.R.Warrier and others when they formed Kerala Government Medical College Teachers Association in 1968.In that sense it is an age old demand from the fraternity of doctors itself with an aim to take Medical Colleges to the level it actually deserves.Denial of health support facilities is not at all justified, which will become a violation fundamental rights to any Indian and also the deviation from the directive principles of the state policy as enshrined in our constitution.I understand, the common public still can avail those facilities of MCs when they are reffered to by the hospitals at Taluk or Distict levels. If we look at the other side of the story, we can learn that there are some good government hospitals which can match almost equal in its capacity to MCs but they are being unattended by both medical practitioners and the public alike, which ultimately leads to the wastage and misuse of our state resources.

Alleppey MC had witnessed some unhealthy developments a few months back.Once of the constituent parties of the ruling LDF, a coalition of the left parties and few others thinking in the same way, put the blame indirectly on the ban of private practice of the doctors in MCs, unimaginable how could they draw such a conclusion for the defeat of their candidate in the by-election of Alleppey assembly constituency. It really proves the incredibility of the so called left, or they pretending to be the one!?, and unwillingness to stand along with popular issues in a way the common man wants them to have.Wish them to realize the situation before they loose the remaining ground support. If you, the left leaders forget to make it, I would suggest you to take a look at one of the scenes in the Malayalam movie, 'Sandesam', in which (late) Sankaradi takes a discussion on the loosing situation of the their party RDP, which was portrayed as a left one.If you remember it well, the reply was 'Nammudey partikku adithara nashttapettu'.Hope the left parties, for all in this matter, realize that whatever the society wants to have, only that, will prevail in the future. If you are not ready to take a stock of the situation, critically examine and accommodate the changes it will be disastrous for all.

I pleade the political leaders of all fractions to study the social justice side of the subject.Another important aspect is that we have all mechanisms to check corruption but all it proves to be failure when one approaches a doctor(atleast doctors of MCs) for the so called better consultations.I do not belive that all doctors are alike in this regard but we should remeber one case reported in the capital city of Kerala where a doctor of Trivandrum MC was caught by the media during his ' service' at a private place.Lets take a pledge to improve the State resources for the public cause and eradicate such bad and unhealthy practices from the society forever.

Demise of a true humanist of our time

Dr. C.R.Soman who was hailed as a real luminary in his field took his last breath in a private hospital at Trivandrum, Kerala, on 6'th of November. He is considered as a key player of his time for contributing to the 'Kerala model' of Health Sector which stands near to the conditions available in developed countries. The social justice aspect of the subject deserves a lot in this regard. He along with others in his time inclu.Dr.P.K.R.Warrier and others started movement for abolishing the exploitations prevailed in this sector which included the private practice of Govt.doctors who are supposed the watchdog of the health of the entire society. He could see its fulfillment after quite a long time, exactly after 40 years, just a few months before taking his last breath. He continued contributing to the society even after his retirement from service in 1992.In his own version it was after 1992 he could have the most fruitful time, more than a doctor as a human being. He floated an NGO, named as Health Action by People' .Under its banner he conducted a lot of research work in social health issues which are still considered to be as eye-openers.His contributions reached to the global level while he served as a consultant to UNICEF and WHO.

A true humanist of character and integrity, a rare or extinct species, needs a lot of attentions whose contributions sans boundaries and calls for a detailed study of the subject in a broader dimension.
